She is survived by: her sister Florence (Watkins); her children, Michael Marlow of Texico, NM, Shelia Lattimore (Diane) of Warner Robins, GA, Rodney Johnson (Aimee) of Flower Mound, TX, Rhonda Kay Johnson (Kay) of Stone Mountain, Jeana Dozier (Eric) of El Paso, TX. and Kurrilue Johnson of Maryland; her husband Kurrilue Johnson; and her grandsons, Myles McDew, Rodney Scott Johnson, Jonathon Johnson, Michael Marlow Jr., Paul Lattimore III, Quayne Bacus and Devarius Moore.
Alzheimer's may have stolen her mind and body over the last several years, but on March 16, 2023, Rubye Johnson WON-she transitioned from this earthly life into her eternal life peacefully at Vibra Life Assisted Living in El Paso, Texas.
