Sylvia Ruth (Janger) Wechter Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on August 27, 2025, at the age of 89, Sylvia Ruth (Janger) Wechter of El Paso, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Jeanette Balk Janger and Louis Janger. She is survived by: her children, Dana, Randy (Janet) and Kevin (Jamie); her grandchildren, Shane, Jaden, Michaela Baxter, Ryan, Jenny Wechter, Cassidy and Cody Wechter; her sister Marsha; her sister-in-law Linda Janger; and her nieces and nephews, Rosanne, Sharon Wechter, Jeff (Rachel), Lane Janger, Loran, Alicia Garnes (Alex) and Kirk Kaminsky (Kathleen).

In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to the B'nai Zion Synagogue or Jewish Federation of San Diego County.
