He is survived by: his wife Yolanda Montes-Petroff; his children, Wendy Leigh Shippey Texarkana of Texas, William Lyle and Samuel Scott of Dallas, Texas.; and his great grandchildren, Bastian Shippey and Ellora May Nixon.
