He was predeceased by: his parents, Kurt Spier and Gertrude Spier; and his wife Anne Frank Spier. He is survived by: his sons, Marc (Mimi), Danny (Shari) and Alan (Suzanne); his grandchildren, Sam, Ben, Katie, Ellie, Libby, Alison, Joey, Josh and Ethan; and his siblings, Curtis Spier (Jacqueline), Jimmy Spier (Anne) and Cita Cohen (Myles).
