He was predeceased by : his father Homer Owen. He is survived by : his wife Kathy Lou Glasgow; his children, Jarrod Owen of Plano, Whitney Owen (Kristal) of Burkburnett, TX and John Owen (Amanda) of Colorado; his stepson David Franks of Iowa Park, TX; his siblings, Doug Owen (Debbie) of Wichita Falls, TX and Melinda Osborne (Bill) of Electra, TX; and his uncle Curtis Owen. He is also survived by several grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the American Cancer Society.
