As Benjamin departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Benjamin may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Benjamin leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Knapek and Ella Knapek of Jarrell; and his sister Dorothy Horadam of Victoria. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Pekar Knapek; and his sisters, Annie Barron of Taylor, Betty Rychlik of Caldwell and Mary (Charles Cain). He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces and great nephews and nieces.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Disabled American Veterans (DAV), The American Legion, or a charity of your choice.
