He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard L. Thomas and Ruby Irene Thomas; his wife Virginia Sue Thomas; and his great grandchild Delilah Ann Thomas. He is survived by: his sons, Michael L. Thomas (Celina Estrada Thomas) of Hutto, Patrick L. Thomas (Betsy Thomas) of Richmond, Texas and Scott L. Thomas (Sheila Thomas) of Austin, Texas; his grandchildren, Michele L. Forrest (Robert), Matthew L. Thomas (Kelsie), Amanda L. Cribbs (Kyle), Paige Thomas (Alex) and Parker L. Thomas (Heather); his great grandchildren, Cade Thomas, Makenna Leigh Forrest, Max Jude and Leigh Ann Cribbs; and his grandchildren, Rhett, Rhyder Thomas and Baker Thomas.
