Bryan Allen Paenitz Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bryan Allen Paenitz of Elgin, Texas, who passed away on December 1, 2025 at the age of 57. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Delbert Paenitz and Connie Huff Paenitz of Elgin, Texas; his brothers, Steve Paenitz of Kentucky and Lonney Paenitz of Elgin, Texas; his brother-in-law Harold VanRaden; and his siblings' children, Jennifer VanRaden of Kasilof and Jade Bowling of Cedar Park.
He is survived by: his wife Erica of McDade, Texas; his sisters, Kathy Bowling (Kenny) of Cedar Park, Texas, Melissa VanRaden of Kasilof and Shannon Bailey (Jim) of Cleburne, Texas; his siblings' children, Raleigh Paenitz (Lindsey) of Seffner, Bradley VanRaden of Kasilof, Grant Bailey of Cleburne, Texas, Mindy Flake (Jeff) of Mount Pleasant and Taylor Gordon (Grant) of Joshua, Texas; his aunt JoCarol Kemp (Allen); and his cousins, Philip Nolan (Rachel) of Gainesville and Kathleen Barteau (Chad) of Gainesville, Texas.. He is also survived by five great-nieces.
A memorial service was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Elgin Seventh-Day Adventist Church (225 Lexington Rd, Elgin, TX 78621). A reception was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the McDade Baptist Church (198 El Paso St, McDade, TX 78650).
