With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Danny Ray Whitlock in Elgin, Texas, born in Austin, Texas, who passed away on January 18, 2026 at the age of 63. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Whitlock and Geraldine Hutcheson Whitlock; his brother Lee E. Whitlock; his cousin Jimmy Birch; and his niece Christine Mohler.

He is survived by: his siblings, Robert J. Whitlock of Elgin, Texas, Kathy Whitlock Mohler (Carl) of Smithville, Texas and Jesse Whitlock (Elizabeth) of Elgin, Texas.; his nieces, Candy Mohler of Austin, Texas, Virginia Skinner (Steven) of McDade, Texas and Christina Jasmer (Dave) of Wisconsin; his nephew Carl Mohler (Sandra) of Smithville, Texas; and his cousin Thelma Birch of Davilla.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Davilla Baptist Church.
