He was predeceased by : his parents, Minnie Lee and Hubert Farris, Sr.; and his siblings, Lois Pace, Inez Haverland, Jim Allen Farris, John Wayne Farris and Robert Farris.

He is survived by : his children, Annessia Belew (John Belew), Joseph Farris, Nathan Farris (Natalie Farris) and Hannah Crippin (Brittany Crippin); his grandchildren, Chance McPherson, Kenzie McPherson and Kamden McPherson; and his siblings, Evelyn Wolf, Linda Saunders (Glen Saunders), Hubert Farris (Lilly Farris), Curtis Farris and Douglas Farris.
