Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Mary Lopez Acosta of Elgin, Texas, born in Burton, Texas, who passed away at the age of 84, on December 15, 2023. She was predeceased by : her parents, Lonnie Sr. Lopez and Theresa Lopez (Figueroa). She is survived by : her siblings, Charlie, Joe Lopez, Martha Perez and Luz Lopez; her husband Carlos "Pepaw" Acosta; her son Joe Lopez of Elgin; her granddaughters, Kristie Ramirez (Alec) of League City, Caitlyn Lopez of Elgin and Mia Lopez (Holden Suarez) of Cedar Creek, Texas; and her great grandchildren, Dax Ramirez and Wrenley Ann Suarez. She is also survived by her brothers, sisters and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Basilica of Our Lady San Juan Del Valle in San Juan, Texas in memory of Mary Acosta.
