She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Mae and Mike Dunbar; and her son Carl Glen. She is survived by: her husband Glen Newstrom; her son Bradley (Tina); her daughter-in-law Eileen; her granddaughters, Amanda Sanchez (Rick) and Ashley Dewitt; her great grandchildren, Kyle Horelica and Oakley Dewitt; and her brothers, Howard, Larry and Gary Dunbar. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
In honor of Mickie memory and her love for reading, the family requests that donations be made to the Elgin Public Library in lieu of flowers.
