He was predeceased by: his parents, Alice Maddux and Everett Maddux; his brother Glenn Everett Maddux; his stepson Robert Walker; and his sisters, Nina Maddux and Joy Reid (Delbert "Bill" Reid).

He is survived by: his wife Patty Ruth; his stepson Chris Walker of Idaho; his stepgrandchild Tracy Walker McCameron (Daniel McCameron); his great grandchildren, Caleb, Kacey, Matthew, Lucas, Miranda of Austin, Bryan Walker (Katie), Cole and Brielle of California; and his adoptive daughter Patty Hamm.

In lieu of flowers, Ray would appreciate donations made to your favorite animal rescue/shelter.
