He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret L. Hernandez and Arnold Gonzalez; his son Daniel Gonzalez; and his brother Joaquin Hernandez. He is survived by: his son David Gonzalez of Austin; his stepson Danny Rendon of Round Rock; his grandchildren, Ashley Gonzalez of Houston and Ladis Rendon of Round Rock; and his siblings, Gloria Torres, Carolyn Perez of Elgin, Arnold Gonzalez of Buda, Jose Arnold Gonzalez of Bastrop and Theodore Gonzalez of Bastrop. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the Providence-Jones Family Funeral Home (604 TX-95, Elgin, TX 78621). A rosary will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (302 W 11th St, Elgin, TX 78621).
