He was predeceased by: his former wife Jeanette Alice Reasz Carter; his daughter Charlotte Carter; and his sister Janie Marie Carter Scott. He is survived by: his wife Laura Cayton Carter; his children, Jeff Carter (Gena) and Lori Carter Karl (Heath); and his stepson Jared Maness (Christy). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
