He is survived by: his family, Shiloh Baptist Church and Reverend L. R. Wilson; his wife Ruthie Shackles; his grandchildren, Dennis Barefield and Kimberly Woody; and his sister Erma Alexander. He is also survived by other relatives and friends, including nieces, nephews, and cousins.
