She was predeceased by: her parents, Marcella Westphal and Lorenz Westphal; her brother Larry Westphal; her husband Rodney Dean McClanahan; her son Eric Ludwick; and her close friend Poco.

She is survived by: her friend Pixie; her brother-in-law Gary McClanahan (Dee); her nieces and nephews, Melissa McMahan (John), Rodney "Bryan" McClanahan (Laura), Andrea Ludwick (Paul) and Jason Ludwick (Dawn); and her pets, Kit and Nikko. She is also survived by grandchildren and one great-grandchild; several nephews and nieces; a wealth of dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, a donation in Pixie's name to the ALS Association would be a meaningful tribute to her memory.
