It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris Jane Wilson of Elkhart, Texas, who passed away on January 28, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Julie Lewis and Vernon Matthews; her husband J. V. Wilson; her siblings, Viola Wilson, Harold and Kenneth Matthews; her daughter Carolyn Multer; her grandson Brenton Multer; and her son-in-law James Gholson.
She is survived by: her sister Joyce Benfield of Colinwood; her daughter Linda Gholson (Dwayne Wilson) of Palestine; and her son-in-law Bob Multer. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 10 great great grandchildren, and 1 great great great grandchild.
