He was predeceased by: his parents, Dow Leroy Gordon, Jr. and Edwyna Sue Bristow Gordon; and his sister Terry Fitzpatrick. He is survived by: his wife Helen Sheridan Gordon; his children, Jerod Gordon (Jessie) of Tyler, Texas and Julie Gordon of Elkhart, Texas; his siblings, Connie Goodman of College Station and Pat Gordon of Elkhart, Texas; and his grandchildren, Aubrey, Cameron and Mason. He is also survived by extended family members and numerous friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 5th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Rhone Funeral Home (3900 S State Hwy 19, Palestine, TX 75801). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 6th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, March 6th 2026 at the Pilgrim Cemetery.
