Truman Starr Obituary

It is with sadness that the passing of Truman Starr of Elkhart, Texas is shared. Truman, born on July 12, 1943, passed away on August 10, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Etta Raines Starr and Henry Lee Starr; his brother James Riley Starr; his sisters-in-law, Becky Starr and Shirley Starr; and his parents-in-law, C. J. Moran and Allene Ellisor Moran.

He is survived by: his wife Glenda Starr; his children, Curtis Starr and Lisa Chapin (Greg); his grandchildren, Chantel Luce (Andy), Lacey Lightfoot (Ryan), Kyndal Chapin and Jeb Chapin; his brother Don Starr; his brother-in-law Mike Moran (Nancy); his nephews, Leslie Starr (Bonnie), Brent Starr (Crystal), Jay Moran (Stephanie) and Blake Moran (Lamanda); and his great-niece Kaitlyn Starr. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
