He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Lynn Muzny; his children, Gary Charles Frierson Jr. (Kimberly Ann Frierson) and Penelope "Penny" Lynn Frierson; his grandchildren, Annabelle and Chance; his brothers, Thomas Frierson and Lance Frierson; his sister-in-law Debbie Frierson; and his nieces and nephews, Keith Thomas Frierson, Brandon Lee Frierson, Nathan Noffsinger, Taggart Horton and Rebecca Horton.
