He was predeceased by: his parents, Sherman Cagle and Ola Cagle; his sisters, Edith Gibson and LaVern Fetner; his children, Brenda Franklin, Leah Cagle, Duane Harwell and H. C. Harwell Jr.; and his grandson Jeremy Franklin.
He is survived by: his wife Martha Cagle (Culverhouse); his son Cameron Harwell; his grandchildren, Tristan Harwell (Kara), Justin Harwell (Jennifer), Desiree Harwell, Ashley Suter (Mike), Dale Harwell (Gabby) and Sarah Franklin; and his great grandchildren, Maci, Amity, Phoenix Harwell, Kaelyn, Easton, Colton, Alyssa Harwell, Abrianna, Deryn, Heyli, Gus, Raylyn, Heath, Noah and Levi.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to White Rock Cemetery Association or the Elm Mott Volunteer Fire Department.
