She is survived by: her children, Juan Olivarez, David Olivarez, Maria Olivarez and Delia Cardona; and her brother Blas Castaneda Jr. May.

Viewing was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel Of (304 E Edinburg Ave, Elsa, TX 78543). A prayer was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Paz Cemetery.
