He was predeceased by: his parents, Exiquio Garza and Josefa Garza-Burnias; his grandparents, Federico and Luciana Garza; his siblings, Hector, Arturo, Guadalupe, Exiquio Jr., Eliza and Diane; his grandchildren, Eli Garza III and Eliardo Garza; and his daughter-in-law Rachel Garza.
He is survived by: his wife Nicolasa G. Garza; and his siblings, Louis Garza (Josie), Elena Derry Berry and Celia Wells.
