With sadness, we share the passing of Thomas Rickey Polk of Elysian Fields, Texas. Thomas, born on October 10, 1961, passed away on October 23, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parent Thomas Larry Polk. He is survived by: his mother Janie Sue Wade Polk of Elysian Fields; his children, April Wesson (Nathan) of Shreveport, Zac Polk (Annie) of Shreveport, Christina Polk, Moses Trujillo of Needles, CA, Cameron Polk (Makayla) of Haughton, LA and Connor Polk (Kelsey) of Greenwood; his grandchildren, Collin Wesson, Landon Wesson, Nolan Wesson, Aiden Polk, Bubba Polk, Abbie Polk, Serenity Trujillo, Tucker Trujillo of Samael Trujillo, M. J, Sutton Polk and Sawyer Polk; his siblings, Randy Polk (Denise) of Shreveport, Tanyva Goss of Elysian Fields, Rusty Polk of Greenwood and Tifany Depresseca (John) of DeBerry; and his close friends, Kevin Jones (Susanna) of Bossier City, Buck and Candy Wilkins of Elm Grove, LA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Downs Funeral Home (4608 Elysian Fields Rd, Marshall, TX 75672). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Grove Hill Cemetery.
