Denise Schoby Obituary

Denise “Nisey” Schoby, age 58, of Rockwall, TX, passed away October 5, 2017. She was born June 27, 1959, in Oakland, CA, to Doris (Winn) Schoby. Denise previously lived in Hiawatha, IA and the Bay Area of California. She was a member of the Church of Latter Day Saints. Nisey was a great photographer and researcher who loved genealogy and cats, especially Stella and Miss Marbles.

Denise is survived by her children: Tyler Easton and Ashley Easton; father: John Schoby, Jr.; siblings: Dalene Van Scyoc, Darlene Schoby, Dana Nishida, Dawn Hardy and husband William, and John Schoby III; step father, David Wolden; aunts and uncles: Harold Winn and wife Dee, Linda Abrao and husband Dennis and Marilyn Winn; nieces and nephews: Kris Aiona and wife Sarah, Adrienne Keel and wife Erin Fitzgerald, Chelsea Van Scyoc, Meagan Schoby, Alex Schoby, Karma Schoby, Allayah Schoby, Zoie Schoby, Leah Hardy, Mia Schoby, Carina Hardy and Gavin Hardy; along with a host of loving relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her mother, Doris (Winn) Schoby, and a nephew, Chase Van Scyoc.

A private family gathering will be held at a later date in her honor.
