It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Edward Burns Jr. of Emory, Texas, who passed away on January 30, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Edward Burns Sr. and Edith O'Rear; and his brothers, Robert Burns, James Burns and Joe Burns.
He is survived by : his sons, Edward Burns (Janice) of Emory and Ronnie Burns (Penny) of Point; his grandchildren, Tracy Burns (Rachel) of Lone Oak, Sarah Ivie (Ryan) of Emory and Rachel Blount (Jeremy) of Sulphur Springs; his great grandchildren, Jaycee Ivie, Addyson Ivie and Jolie Blount; and his sisters, Helen Rigby of Emory and Margaret Burns of Rockwall. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Calvary Baptist Church building fund.
