He was predeceased by: his parents, George Jesse Parten Jr. and Mizelle Parten (Hodge). He is survived by: his wife Jo Ann Parten; his children, Jeffery Allen Parten (Tricia) and Julie Parten Squiers (Larry); and his grandchildren, Ashley Parten, Kayley Parten and Cole Squiers.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Orwosky Funeral Home (803 N Texas St, Emory, TX 75440). A funeral service was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Calendar Chatfield Memorial Cemetery.
