He is survived by: his wife Glenda Fay; his daughters, Pam Ruiz (Michael), Savina Settle (Egon) and Tulea Wynn (Chauncey); his siblings, James H. Bates (Marsha), David Garrett (Clemmie), Delenis Garrett (Nikita) and Thomas Garrett (Dendra); his cousins, Marcus Garrett (Doris), J. W. Garrett (Laverne) and Fannie Brown (Ron); and his grandchildren, Liana, Tiana, Preston, AmonTah, Devin, Natisse and Hendrix. He is also survived by 8 great grandchildren.
