He was predeceased by: his parents, Columbus A. Pope and Helen Ester Pope (Sturgeon); and his sisters, Wanda Heath and Nettie Mann. He is survived by: his wife Jonnie L. Harper; his children, Kory D. Harper, Regina M. Friskes and Ashley M. Harper; and his sisters, Phillis A. Clay and Jacqualine Brotherton. He is also survived by five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
