She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Jackson Pounds and Mary Ruth Pounds (Hall); her husband Roy Johnson; her son Kenneth David Johnson; her granddaughter Sarah Michelle Courson; and her sisters, Verlene House, Joan Lomax and Anna Kathryn Pounds.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Renea Thigpen (Danny), Roy Wayne Johnson (Raquel) and Teresa Kay Dunaway (Jason); her grandchildren, Roderique Courson, Knealy, Kenneth Johnson, Courtney, Jacob Dunaway, Maddie, Brandon Thigpen, Dustin Thigpen, Mia Johnson, Leesa Privee, Kevin and Jamie Dunaway; her brother Kenneth Wayne Pounds; her uncle Doil Pounds; and her brother-in-law Billy Lomax. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
