She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Wire and Lottie Wire (Oberdier); her husband Howard; and her sons, Roger Emig (Bud), Daniel Emig and David Emig.

She is survived by: her sons, Edward Emig (Carolyn), Thomas Emig and Donald Emig (Cathy). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 14 great– grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild.

Visitation was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Emory Baptist Church (260 Planters St, Emory, TX 75440). A funeral service was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
