He is survived by: his children, Rusty (Linda Doherty) and Laura (Billy Banks); his grandchildren, Tyler Farris, Hannah (Jason Vavra), Bailee (Travis Duck), Cameron Farris (Emily), Tanner Doherty, Ashley Chaney and Taylor Banks; his great grandchildren, Brynlee, Sevannah, Avery, Georgia, Graham, Claire, Camdyn and Roxen; his sister Janice (Tim Cooper); and his sisters-in-law, Nita Doherty, Diane Liska and Jerry Anderson (Linda).

Visitation was held on Wednesday, August 26th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the J. E. Keever Mortuary (408 N Dallas St, Ennis, TX 75119). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
