He is survived by: his children, Juan Francisco Diaz, Victor Diaz, Iveth Diaz and Elizabeth Diaz; and his siblings, Gonzalo Diaz, Jose Diaz, Daria Diaz Zepeda, Antonio Diaz, Paula Diaz and Manuela Diaz. He is also survived by husbands/wives and several grandchildren.
