She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Oates and Estelline Oates (Atkinson). She is survived by: her daughter Suzanne Leach; her son-in-law Gary Leach; her daughter Linda (Darrell Lassetter); her grandchildren, Brooke Hunter, Colin Leach, Brandon Lassetter and Clare Dobbins; her great grandchildren, Daxton, Bryson, Brooklyn, Dusk, Emma and Cade; and her sister Shirley Prater. She is also survived by other extended family members and dear friends.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Palmer Cemetery -Palmer.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the general fund of the Fundamental Baptist Church -Palmer, Texas.
