She is survived by: her sister Evelyn Elaine Hicks; her daughters, Phyllis Stewart (Cooper) of Ennis, Amy Martinez (David) of Ennis and Paula Gentry-Bonner of Corsicana; her grandchildren, Christy Rowland (Tommy), Ronnie Washburn Jr. (Tara), Christina Thurman (Adam), Justin Hammond, Eric Martinez (Alyssa), Alexa Martinez and Holly Todd; her great grandchildren, Heather Rowland, Joshua Liska (Katlyn), Phelicity, Samantha Liska, Alyssa Houston (CJ), Connor Washburn, Nikolas, Emma, Sophie Martinez, Rhyder Martinez, Caleb, Ethan Denbow, Rhea, Khylei and Landen Vandeventer; her great great grandchildren, Westen, Logan, Oliver and Clara Joy; her nephews, Jason, Collier Hicks and Gentry; William McElroy.
In lieu of flowers, Joy's wishes were that donations be made to Tabernacle Baptist Church, Chris Cooper Memorial Soccer Scholarship Fund.
