He was predeceased by: his parents, Wesley F. Knize and Ethelina Haskovec Knize; and his aunt Carolyn Haskovec. He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Patak Knize; his children, Sheryl Miears (Steve Miears) of Southlake, Michael Knize (Michelle Knize) of Dallas and Dr. Mark Knize of Dallas; and his grandchildren, Jake, Drew, Kate, Caroline and Abbey.
