He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Martin and Ruth Dillon Eldridge; his granddaughter Caitlyn Eldridge; his brother-in-law Kent Dill; his daughter-in-law Marissa D'An Eldridge (Kemp); and his nephew Mark Stevens.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Edith Eldridge; his son Martin "Marty" Wesley Eldridge; his sisters, Sharon Dill and Linda Stevens; and his grandson Ryan Eldridge (Macy).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (308 E Broadway St, Gainesville, TX 76240). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial donations may be made to the Era Masonic Lodge.
