He was predeceased by: his mother Nina Goodson; and his siblings, Carl, Tim and Reba. He is survived by: his father Carl Walter; his wife Donna Goodson; his children, Jeannie (Preston), Johnny Goodson (Tonda), Adeline Gibson (Jeff), Natalie Sheldon (Dennis) and Francine Goodson; and his grandchildren, Willie, Megan Brown, Nikki Lee, Caleb Gibson, Natalie Gibson, Sydney Prokes (Phil), Hunter Sheldon, Piper Sheldon, Nadia Goodson, Arianna Goodson and Mya Goodson. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Book Hotel South Euless Baptist Church (1000 Simmons Dr, Euless, TX 76040). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to South Euless Baptist Church, in honor of Tom's lifelong commitment to serving the Lord and sharing the Gospel. Donations may be made via check or Zelle.
