He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Schmidt and Victoria Schmidt; his siblings, Robert, Edward and Marian; his son William, Jr.; and his son-in-law Richard Rosen.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Woodman; his children, Sharon Rosen of New Market, MD, Suzanne Bailey (Blake) of Southlake, TX, Marie Deande (Anthony) of Euless, TX and Joe Schmidt (Carrie) of Kalona, IA; and his daughter-in-law Judy Schmidt of Wyandotte, MI.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and extended family.
