She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse-Oland Black and Loretta Granger Black; her sister Jessie Linn; her brother-in-law Rodney Goins; and her niece Rashelle De'Nene.
She is survived by: her husband Ricky Shaw of Evadale; her children, Lucas Dawayne Brunner (Misty) of Evadale, Daniel Lee Brunner of Buna, Texas and Crystal Gayle Casper (Jonathan) of Evadale; and her siblings, Michael Wayne Black (Lori) of Brookeland, Robby Black (Stacy) of Buna, Texas and Irene Goins of Livingston, Texas. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home (2755 N Wheeler St, Jasper, TX 75951). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at the Black Family Cemetery.
