She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Junior Dunkin and Effie Carter Dunkin; her father-in-law Rufus "Buddy" Tanton; and her pets, Yogi, Ginger and Mickey.
She is survived by: her husband Mark Tanton; her children, Robert Storm (Macy Blackwell) and Katracey Thomas (John "J. T."); her siblings, Roy Wayne Dunkin and Tammy Dunkin; her grandchildren, Jacey Thomas, Johnny Thomas and Jocelyn Thomas; and her pets, Coonie, Cricket, Buddha, Bullet, Rowdy, Dixie, Bull, Max and Texanna.
