She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Hill and Addie Hill; her husband James Flippen; her son Jimmy Flippen; and her daughter-in-law Johna Faye Flippen.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Wenzel of Hamilton, Debbie Reedy (Jack) of Aledo and Gene Flippen (Toni) of Evant. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, and many great and great-great grandchildren.
