He was predeceased by: his parents, Green M. Morrison and Ollie E. Hobbs; and his brothers, James W. Simpson, Alvin J. Simpson and Charles E. Simpson.
He is survived by: his children, Leana Newell (George), Lynn Cochran (Brent) and Mitchell Morrison; his grandchildren, Garrett Newell (Victoria) and Lauren Cochran; his great grandchild Evangeline Newell; and his siblings, Johnny Tyler (Angela) and Dianne Bell (Mike).
