He is survived by: his wife Lynn Erwin of Fairfield, Texas; his daughters, Stephanie Kirkendoll (Tad) of Groesbeck and Betsy Wright (Jeff) of Fairfield, Texas; his grandson Beau Erwin Kirkendoll of Groesbeck, Texas.; his brother Mike Erwin (Katherine) of Zachary, Louisiana; his sisters-in-law, Kay Terry of Lafayette and Beth Dardis of Fannett, Texas; Tracy Mitchell of Fairfield. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
