He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin L. Watson Sr. and Sallie S. Manahan Watson; and his siblings, Barbara, Ed Morris of Broken Arrow, OK, Joyce Watson, Hugh Bonner of Fairfield, Marvin L. Watson Jr. and Joyce York Watson of Fairfield.
He is survived by: his spouse Devena Ann Johnson Watson; and his daughter Nancy Ann Watson of Katy. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews, along with many dear friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, May 4th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Capps Memorial Chapel (113 College St, Fairfield, TX 75840). A funeral service was held on Monday, May 4th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, May 4th 2026 at the Stewards Mill Cemetery.
