It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mitchell B. Ward of Fairfield, Texas, who passed away on February 17, 2024, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Jake Ward and Neva Smart Ward; and his siblings, Bobbie Barrett, Dale Ward and Ricky Ward.

He is survived by : his wife Barbara Ward; his children, April Walker (Jason) and Jacob Ward; his grandchildren, Kalyn Ethridge, Ethan Walker, Marli Walker, Abby Ward and Joanna Ward; his brother Glenn Ward; his close friend Olen Walker; and his pet Leroy. He is also survived by extended family members and friends.
