She was predeceased by: her father Robert Franklin Pearson, Sr.; and her brothers, Robert Franklin Pearson, Jr., William Edward Pearson and Henry Alexander Pearson. She is survived by: her mother-in-law Leona Lavonia Pearson; her husband Edwin L. Wirtz; her children, Christopher Karl Wirtz (Patsy) of Streetman and Cynthia K. Lancaster (Keith) of Spring; and her stepson John W. Smith of Teague. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, and numerous step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Round Prairie Baptist Church (932 E Main St, Fairfield, TX 75840). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be made in her memory to Round Prairie Baptist Church or First Baptist Church Streetman.
