With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rodger Dale Chaney of Ferris, Texas, who passed away on July 16, 2025 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Eugene Chaney, Sr. and Eva Jane Jenkins; and his children, Eva McKenrick, Rodger Dwayne Chaney, Squeaky Chaney, Wild Bill Chaney (Liz Strahorn) and Willie Eugene Cheney, Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Wanda Chaney; his daughter Randa Patrick; his grandchildren, Kristy, Andi, Breanna, Michael, Taylor, Korbin and Blake; his son-in-law Colin McKenrick; his brother-in-law Coy Brown; and his sister Eva Jane "Tootsie" Stuart. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and another extended family.
