He was predeceased by: his parents, John L. Buchanan and Cecil Aline Bixler Buchanan; and his grandparents, Elbredge Lee Buchanan and Cornelia Elizabeth Townsend Buchanan. He is survived by: his niece Virginia Tinker Brace; his nephews, David Lee Tinker and Curtis Frederick Tinker III; and his friends, Gerald Freytag, Mary Gosch, Greg Kadlub, Debbie Walker, Laura Zouzalik and Tom Autrey.
